SUSHI COOKING CLASSES
Learn how fun and simple it is to make sushi at home in this popular cooking class. I teach mainly traditional sushi, with a few modern versions to satisfy the mayonnaise lovers. Most classes consist of a selection of maki rolls and nigiri, but if you have a particular preference, just mention it when booking. I can also teach temaki, gunkan, hakozushi, sashimi and tataki.
There are three ways to take a cooking class:
Home Cooking Class - I come out to your home and teach you to cook. All ingredients, drinks and equipment are provided.
Online Cooking Class - You can be anywhere in the world and take a live private session with me and learn to cook in your own kitchen.
Group Cooking Class - You can join a class in Copenhagen alongside other people in my monthly group classes. Dates are on the booking page and Facebook @kimuraskitchen.
Sushi requires no introduction, and it's usually the first thing people associate with Japanese cuisine. What many people don't know however, is that the sushi in Japan is very different to what we usually find here in the West. My aim is to show you how the Japanese approach sushi, and in the class we will make everything from scratch. I use fresh wasabi stems in the sushi classes, which is rare even in the top restaurants outside Japan, to give you the most authentic experience. I am certified by the All Japan Sushi Association, and have previously participated in the World Sushi Cup in Tokyo.
