Experience exquisite Kaiseki cuisine in the heart of Copenhagen.


Kimura's Kitchen offers you two times a year, in spring and autumn, the chance to try the ultimate Japanese dining experience. I select premium seasonal ingredients, and a few items flown in directly from Japan, and will cook a 10 course menu following the traditions of Kaiseki with a modern and local twist.


The menu will only be revealed on the day, but a sample is available below. Sake and wine paring will be matched to suit the seaonal dishes.


Items you can expect to see on the menu are sea urchin, wagyu beef, truffles, fresh wasabi stems, and langoustines, depending on the season.


To make a booking, choose the number of people, from the drop down menu on this page and choose if you want the menu with or without drinks pairing. The dinner starts at 19.00. Please arrive at the exact start time as guests will be served together by course.


Please note that in order to provide the best experience for everyone, no dietary requirements or allergies can be catered for. A vegetarian menu will however be available on the day.

しいざかな shiizakana

Tempura sea urchin - matcha salt - tensuyu sauce - shiso

Homemade unagi kabayaki - miso soup - koshihikari rice - kinome leaf

Sake: Miwatari suwa-no-ryujin junmai ginjo (warm)


かし kashi

Yokan with red bean - matcha ice cream - sake poached peach

Tea: gyokuro from Uji


    In order to be eligible for a refund, or to reschedule a cooking class, (for example if you are unable to attend on that day) you must notify me 3 days before the date of your booking. This is because I book a location specially for the classes, and cannot run a class if there are less than 5 attendees.

    The money will be refunded to the original payment method you’ve used during the purchase. For credit card payments it may take 5 to 10 business days for a refund to show up on your credit card statement.

    If you notify me with less than 3 days before your booking, you will not be eligible for a refund or reschedule.
