Private chef:
exclusive japanese dining
Looking for something truly amazing for your dinner party of family event? What could be better than having a world class chef come and cook for you in your home? Having previously worked for the likes of Gordon Ramsay, Nobu, Roka, Hakkasan, and Yoshihiro Murata of Kikunoi, I am able to bring Michelin quality dining out to you. I offer 3 types of menus, all based on the Kaiseki way of eating (Japanese seasonal haute cuisine). Menus can always be tailored to suit your tastes. Matching drinks and cocktail menus can also be arranged.
KAISEKI MENU SAMPLE
As each event is unique, it's best to contact me with the basic details: approximate number of people, location of the event, and date, so that I can give you the best price, and talk about your requirements. Private dining is only available in the Côte d'Azur and Monaco, but you are welcome to contact me if you wish an event in other locations. Contact me on WhatsApp or Signal on this number.
Kaiseki is a type of art form that balances the taste, texture, appearance, and colours of food. Only fresh seasonal ingredients are used and are prepared in ways that aim to enhance their flavour. Local ingredients are often included as well as items flown in from Japan. Food is carefully presented on plates that are chosen to enhance both the appearance and the seasonal theme of the meal. Dishes are beautifully arranged and garnished, often with real leaves and flowers, as well as edible garnishes.
Sample menus are available here on this page in case you need some suggestions, but each menu will vary depending on the seasons. Of course I can also tailor make the menus for your specific event.
I offer kaiseki dining for between 4 and 12 people in order to provide the best experience, but if you have a larger event, feel free to contact me. Private dining of this type must be booked at least 21 days in advance.
All equipment, plates, and chopsticks are provided for the dining experience, but not drinking glasses or western style cutlery.
I take the privacy of my clients seriously and do not advertise this service nor post about events on social media. Bookings can only be made by emailing kimuraskitchen@pm.me
